Q  Can I send a PDF by Email

A  Yes, as long as the file is not too ‘large’. The definition of ‘large’ is dependant on what email app you use and your internet provider. Generally PDF’s of up to 3Mb can be sent by email.

Q  If the file is too large for email how do I send the PDF?

A  If your PDF is too large [in Mb] you can send the file to us by ‘Dropbox’ or go to our Upload Page where you can send us files up to 500Mb in size.

Q How do I use Dropbox?

A  Go to and set up an account, it’s free for a limited volume of data. Follow the instructions to send us,, an email with the link so that we can download the file.

Q Do my files have to be in PDF format?

A  We do prefer files in PDF however we can take other files types such as: CAD, JPEG, TIFF, AI and others. If your files are not in PDF format we may have to charge extra for altering and processing your file.

Q How long does it take to process my job?

A  If your file reaches our office by 1.30pm it will be processed and on NZ Couriers that evening so it should reach you, wherever you are in NZ, prior to noon the following day, that’s less than 24 hours!

Please Note: We cannot guarantee the above if: a] Your files require significant processing, b] We have a large number of jobs being processed, or c] If there are delays in the Courier network.
You can be sure that if there are any delays to your processing we will advise you by email or phone.

Q What is a PDF?

A  Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format used to present and exchange documents reliably, independent of software, hardware, or operating system. Invented by Adobe, PDF is now an open standard maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). PDFs can contain links and buttons, form fields, audio, video, and business logic. They can also be signed electronically and are easily viewed using free Acrobat Reader DC software.
